This was again proven during Saturday’s National Letter Carrier’s Food Drive where residents donated over 25,000 pounds of food that will help see us through the summer months.
We want to thank our community members and the letter carriers who actually look forward to this food drive every year and wear huge smiles on their faces when their vehicles are unloaded. Thanks also to our many volunteers who put in a lot of hours helping the letter carriers on their routes and working at the food bank’s facility on Continental.
Together we can and will continue the fight against hunger in our respective communities.
