A 44-year-old man was airlifted to a Tucson hospital after a hunting accident on Friday, Nov 4. 

A 44-year-old man was airlifted to a Tucson hospital Friday morning after accidentally shooting himself in the leg while hunting, according to the Green Valley Fire District.

GVFD and several other agencies – including the Pima County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue team, the Arizona Department of Public Safety and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol – responded to the area of McGee Ranch Road and Rose Lane after an initial report of a shooting Friday morning.
