Green Valley gets chapter in new book; author to speak

“You might say it’s a narrative map of a complex state,” he said. “It also grapples with what it means to call a place ‘home,’ be that home Arizona or any other state.”

Zoellner said Green Valley was “probably the most complex chapter in the book,” adding he “found a lot of hope there” as people looked at aging and dying.

Zoellner, a former newspaper reporter, teaches at Chapman University in California and Dartmouth College and also serves as the politics editor of The Los Angeles Review of Books.
