CONLEY
I led quite a life outside and alone and developed some “tomcat ways.” After coming here, my, uh, “wings” have been clipped and I’m settling down. I like to vocalize with you and will jump right into your lap. You can also pick me up. I can get over-stimulated and nip from time to time, so I’m not looking for constant attention. Since I haven’t gotten along with any of the other cats here, I definitely need to be an only cat. One unique thing about me is that I’m a polydactyl—I have extra toes. Come meet me and see! Maybe the next chapter of our lives will be written together.
RENEGADE
I guess I earned my name because I was found in the back yard of a nice person who knew what to do—bring me to The Animal League. We’re not sure how I got to be outside. Here I enjoy sleeping in a cubby, and I like it when the volunteers scratch my cheeks and brush me. I’m very handsome, with a grey striped coat. I’m still getting used to being here, and they are trying to fatten me up by tempting me with all kinds of foods. Evidently, I found a formula for getting some TLC! Are you ready for a mellow boy you can pamper? It’s me! It’s me!
POLAR
If you see me confidently playing with another TALGV dog or racing after a bouncing ball, you might be surprised to know I was once a scared, lost puppy. Now, I’m much happier. I’ve made friends with people and other dogs, and love exercising in the play yard. I’m learning to enjoy daily walks and can even work a dog puzzle! Two important discoveries: I’m treat motivated in training, and I do not get along with cats. I’m a young shepherd mix male, 37 pounds at nine months, who wants to be the best dog I can be. If you’re willing to help me get there, I’ll try to make it fun for both of us. Shall we start today?
ARTY
I was a county shelter pooch that had been repeatedly overlooked by potential adopters. Why? Not because I’m not special—I AM! Lucky for me, some astute Animal League volunteers saw my sparkling personality and they picked ME to come here where I could shine. My TALGV friends say I’m a “great dog” who knows how to “sit,” “stay,” “heel,” and “come.” I also know the “watch me” command and walk well on a leash. My hobbies include the outdoors—especially hiking—and I like playing with dog friends and people friends. ALL PEOPLE! And once I warm up to you, watch out, because this mellow fellow becomes a kissy-faced dreamboat. Can I be YOUR pick?

Paws Patrol Kitties

MAMA DOJA
I'm a beautiful girl with stunning green eyes and magnificently long white whiskers. I was outside for a little while and found out I was going to be a mama. Caring for kittens and keeping them safe is not easy, especially in the desert. Paws Patrol came to the rescue! We all moved in with our foster family and it's pretty purrfect. They love kitties and treat us well. My foster family says that I am an easy-going gal and enjoy spending time on their lap. My fur is lush and I have the cutest little white booties on my feet! Soon I will be done raising the kittens and looking for my forever home.
JONES
Jones here! Who says black cats aren't lucky?! I'm one of the luckiest kittens ever. I was rescued by Paws Patrol when they found my mom and siblings trying to survive in the desert. We were a little skinny and needed some tender loving care so we went to live with our wonderful foster family. They say that I have the cutest little walk that makes them giggle. I love to nap on laps and be pet. I have a sleek black coat that shines in the sunlight and big bright eyes that will surely melt your heart. If you'd like to double your lovin’ maybe you would consider adopting one of my brothers too?
