Ann and Ron Morris celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 15th. Ann is retired elementary school teacher and Ron retired from Monsanto Company as a chemical engineer in St. Louis and Boston. Attending the anniversary celebration were their sons Christopher, his wife Carol and their grandchildren, Ashley and Collin Tso, and Douglas, his wife Julie and their children Sarah, Matthew and Jacob Morris. Unable to attend but in everyone’s thoughts was son Brian Morris of San Francisco. The celebration began on Thursday with a renewal of the wedding vows with Reverend Louie Lyons at the Green Valley Community Church at 10 AM on the 14th followed by a dinner at 5 PM in the Sunrise Pointe Clubhouse catered by Chef Charles of Kristofer’s. On Saturday morning, the 15th, a family breakfast was held at the Arizona Family Restaurant.
