Canoa Ranch park opens, but plenty of work remains

The latest restoration effort on one of Southern Arizona’s major cattle ranches was unveiled Saturday with a reminder that there is plenty of work yet to be done.

The county dedicated the newly named Hacienda de la Canoa Ranch headquarters at Raúl M. Grijalva Canoa Ranch Conservation Park, a $4.2 million project that is part of the larger Canoa Master Plan.
