Nail salon opens in Sahuarita

With 14 years of experience as a nail salon owner Tommy Nyugen and his wife, Nellie Tran, opened their newest salon on Duval Mine Road this month in the same building as Curves and Dental Village.

Focusing on cleanliness and a nail style called “pink and white” nails, Nguyen said, unlike white nail polish on French tip nails, the white tips on pink and white nails don’t chip or fade. They can last three weeks.

Though he carries a full selection of nail polish colors by OPI, Nguyen said, “If someone wears pink and white nails they know what the name means.”

He previously owned nail salons in Georgia, Alabama and Nevada. Currently, he owns one in Florida and one in Marana in addition to this one in Green Valley.

Nguyen said he offers “everything about nails. If you want something different that you never had before, come and try us.”

Pink and White Nails has six nail stations and eight pedicure chairs. The salon is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number is 648-6667.
