LettersEditor: The county seems to have contributed to the roundabout confusion brought up in your article Sunday, Nov. 15 If you are traveling north on Camino del Sol as you approach the roundabout the yellow lines diverge, as they should. But as you get closer, instead of the expected crosshatch (or at least a continuation of the double, solid yellow lines) the inside solid lines inexplicably change to dashed lines. This is the indication for a two-way, left-turn lane in the middle of the road. If you follow the pavement markings only, a left turn at that point is permissible, putting you into the roundabout clockwise. Likewise, if you are leaving the roundabout to go south on Camino del Sol you again encounter the left-turn lane, but there is nowhere to go if you do turn left. If this marking is intentional and correct, could you please tell me what it means and how this left-turn lane is to be used? George Birch, Green Valley
