CATHERINE B. DEWEY was born in Texas in 1933. She passed away on Nov. 2, 2009, after surgery. She had made her home in Illinois, Wyoming and Colorado before retiring to La Posada six years ago.

Cathy is survived by her husband Roger; her daughters Linda and Jill; and three grandchildren.

She was an avid hospice volunteer for over 25 years. She provided much help to those who needed her. She also managed to bring fun to most. Her service here was to Carondelet Hospice.

She was also active in garden club, sorority chapter and PEO.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care in Tucson.
