LettersEditor: The party of “No” showed up in front of television cameras last week, critical of the size of the 2,000-page health care reform bill now being considered in the U.S. House of Representatives. Health care reform, that deals with hundreds of insurance, pharmaceutical, and device companies, that impacts thousands of doctors, nurses and hospitals, not to speak of millions of Americans, deserves 2,000 pages. I, for one, am thrilled that this bill, which is tackling a 70-year-old hugely complicated problem, is 2,000 pages. Wouldn’t you be worried—or even suspicious — if this bill were five or 10 pages long? I would. Diane Meyer, Green Valley
