JOHN E. PILGRIM, 84, of Green Valley and formerly of Del Rio, Texas, died on Oct. 28, 2009.

He was with the 1st U.S. Marine Corps Division during WWII and retired from the Air Force. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife Christine Pilgrim; children Charles (Signe) Pilgrim of Highland, Calif., John (Olivia) Pilgrim of Green Valley, Tom (Linda) Pilgrim of Holten Lake, Mich. and Marilyn (Jim) Thompson, also of Green Valley; as well as sister June Kolligan of Fresno, Calif.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 3, 2009, at Green Valley Mortuary, officiated by the Rev. Charles Pilgrim.

In lieu of flowers, unrestricted donations may be made to the Green Valley Fire District.


COL. CYRIAQUE JOHN LOISEL passed away peacefully Oct. 8, 2009, in his home after a difficult struggle with lung cancer.		DONALD L. RIORDAN, 82, passed away at his home in Green Valley on Oct. 24, 2009.
