Body found; other Border Patrol incidents

Border Patrol agents found the body of a woman Monday about 30 miles north of Douglas.

There were no other details available Tuesday. Cochise County deputies took over the scene.

In other Border Patrol incidents:

  • Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Station arrested an illegal border crosser from Mexico on Monday who had been arrested for “Sex with a Minor,” according to the agency.

  • Agents at the Interstate 19 checkpoint found two juvenile Mexican nationals on Monday with marijuana strapped to their bodies.

  • Agents assigned to the Tucson Station arrested an illegal immigrant from Mexico on Monday who had been arrested for “Sex with a Minor: 3-plus years younger.”


  • Agents assigned to the Nogales Station arrested two groups of illegal immigrants from China in the past 24 hours. All eight were held for further processing.

  • Border Patrol Agents assigned to the Tucson Station arrested four illegal immigrants from China on Monday. All four subjects were held for further processing.
