Up for Adoption

Patches

I had been living outdoors in the Villas West for several months wondering what happened to my people and visiting all the neighbors to see if they knew where they’d gone. Although no one did, everyone was very nice to me and gave me food and lots of attention. One sweet lady knew, though, that my being an outside cat was awfully dangerous, so she arranged for me to come to TALGV.

They say I am a real “looker”- about 18 months old with a distinguishing gray “patch” on my nose. I love dogs and am great with people, too. My hobbies are having my chin scratched, sitting in your lap, and helping with “stuff” around the house.

If you need a companion who will share your life and maybe your bed or a comfy chair, then I’m the guy for you.

Prime Time

My brother, Little Bit, and I were adopted from TALGV back in April ’06 when we were just barely 8-week-old kittens. We had a grand time living with our senior dad, but now he is ill and can’t take care of us any longer. I am a lovely classic torti lady who has a charming beige stripe down my nose.

My dad says although I’m very laid back, I still like to play with balls and toys, and I simply love to be petted! I’ve been sleeping at night on a pillow on the sofa (like the regal lady I am!), but maybe you wouldn’t mind me crawling into bed with you!

Well, no matter where I sleep in your home, I promise that I’ll make a terrific addition to your life!

Juliet

I’m as beautiful and loving as one of Shakespeare’s heroines. As a 1-year-old, classic, white with black, pit bull terrier, I could be a poster child for those who are advocates of my breed and know how gentle and sweet we are. In fact, I am so friendly that I have been accused of being a perpetual smiler.

I was brought to TALGV by a young, caring and generous couple who found me in the pecan orchard between the Old Nogales Highway and Rancho Sahuarita. During my 5-day stay with my rescuers,

I enjoyed the company of four dogs and one cat, so I’d probably do just fine in a multiple pet home. I’m just waiting for a family that is ready to give me a lifetime of love and security in return for my loyalty and devotion.

For me and several of my friends, the recession is one of the best things that ever happened to us. Our owner was a backyard breeder, and we were spending our lives outside providing income by producing offspring. When puppy sales went down, she didn’t need us anymore, so now I am looking forward to a new home where “pampering” is the name of the game.

I am a 5-year-old, silver dapple Dachshund gentleman who passed my vet check with flying colors and am now neutered. They’re not sure yet whether I understand “housebroken” since having lived outside all my life that wasn’t an issue. I have a sweet, gentle personality, am very playful and love kids, but since I have had limited social experience, I am looking for a loving, patient family to help me make up for lost time.

    Belle

I am Belle, and you will love my black tabby coat with the white underside. I am sophisticated, love to be brushed and petted. Don’t try to give me pills or clip my nails, though. I’m temporarily at the Dog House, so come and admire me. I need a home of my own where I can be “Only Cat!” My price is $65 but free to seniors and handicapped of course.

    Chaucer

Who wouldn’t fall in love with a beautiful orange-and-white kitty like me? I’m being fostered with my mom and a sibling and if you wanted a whole fur family at once, we are all just $65 together. I’m more than a year old but still a little shy. I’d love a home of my own. Please consider adopting me and maybe another member of my family.
