No on bond issues

Editor:

This is not the time for more bond issues!

The Sahuarita School District is one of the largest and most spread out in all of Pima County! The district should be split in to two districts, and, to begin with, the next high school built should be in the Continental School District. When we have over 40 pecent of the children in the district under the poverty level...the rest of us can’t afford this!

We just took a $150-$200 tax increase in our school taxes two years ago when 4 Bond Issues were approved!

One, the district boasted they didn’t expect to win and gave everyone in the administration and teachers a $300 bonus! Since then our homes have depreciated another $30,000 and 2010 valuation anticipates another $30-$40,000 drop in values.

Why wasn’t there any forethought to these NEW 3 Bond Issues then.

I say vote no on all three in your early or Nov. 3 vote, and bring these people to accountability.
