Survey of businesses to gauge development The Economic Development Committee of the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce is putting the finishing touches on an area-wide business survey designed to gather feedback from businesses regarding current economic stress, barriers to growth, workforce and business development issues, and environmental sustainability. “The information gathered from the survey will be used to develop programs and outreach that will help local business owners in areas they may not be familiar with, or have little experience in,” said Tim Wolf, EDC chairman. The survey is scheduled to be sent out during the second week of October, and will be available online and in a printed format. “Area businesses have always responded well to our surveys. The information gathered from them is invaluable in helping us deliver programs that fortify their future plans,” Chamber Executive Director Jim DiGiacomo, said. His staff now includes a client relations director. Jeff Mitchell is heading the company’s Tucson office and is one out of eight new employees who are helping consumers in the state. If the client knows exactly what they want, Mitchell can negotiate the deal and bring the signing papers and the car to the client’s home without the client ever stepping onto the dealership lot. If the client prefers to test drive a vehicle, arrangements for a pre-set time for the test drive are made. A staff member accompanies the client. Real Estate agent earns e-PRO certification John Backer of Morado Canyon Realty has successfully completed the e-PRO Technology Certification Program course for certification by the National Association of Realtors.
