ObituariesHe was a graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy and spent 41 years as a pharmaceutical salesman with Eli Lilly and Co. After he retired, he visited Green Valley as a snowbird and in 2000 officially moved from Richmond to Green Valley. He was a licensed pharmacist both in Indiana and Arizona. He served in WWII and belonged to Kiwanis and the Elks. He was born in St. Louis, Mo. to Wanda (Staats) Knox and John Jennings. After his parents divorced, Wanda married Richard Knox who was the father who raised him. Survivors include his wife Joan; daughter Linda; son Ritchey; and grandson Andrew Neill. Private services were held Aug. 23 at the Green Valley Mortuary and Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Reader TributesSubmit a Tribute |
