Arraignments

Charges of driving on a suspended license and failure to stop at a red light were dismissed against a male juvenile, 17, of California and formerly Sahuarita, so he could move to California. If he returns, charges will be re-filed and he will be prosecuted.

Amber Marie Montes, 21, of Tucson, pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to appear for an underlying shoplifting charge and a fine of $614 is suspended pending payment of existing fines of $581. Montes has agreed to a $100-per-month payment plan.

A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed against Fernando Romero, 24, of Tucson, after he presented a valid drivers license.

Zachary Robert Payne, 20, of Tucson, was found in violation of probation for a conviction of driving under the influence because he failed to pay fines and attend alcohol treatment. Payne admitted he had failed to comply with the conditions of his probation and was sentenced to a 12-month extension of probation and ordered to complete alcohol counseling.


David Montoya Estrada, 29, of Sahuarita, pleaded responsible for no license in possession and was fined $143. Charges of driving on a suspended license and inoperable brake light were dismissed.

Angelica Christine Fredrikson, 18, of Sahuarita, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and a $268 fine is suspended pending completion of a shoplifting class within three months.

Jennifer Lynn O’Hara-Hackett, 27, of Sahuarita, pleaded no contest to four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and was offered diversion to complete 16 hours of alcohol education within three months.

Maggie S. Lundquist, 20, of Sahuarita, pleaded guilty to being underage with alcohol in the body and was offered diversion to complete 16 hours of alcohol education within three months.

Nicholas W. Peterson, 20, of Tucson, pleaded guilty to being underage with alcohol in the body and was offered diversion to complete 16 hours of alcohol education within three months.

Remmington Carmi Smith, 20, of Sahuarita, pleaded guilty to being underage with alcohol in the body and was offered diversion to complete 16 hours of alcohol education within three months.

Stephen Luis Lopez, 20, of Sahuarita, pleaded guilty to being underage with alcohol in the body and was offered diversion to complete 16 hours of alcohol education within three months.

Desiree Andrea Knittle, 27, of Sahuarita, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was fined $268 and ordered to attend 16 hours of drug education. A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed. Knittle was also charged with no license plate light and driving on a suspended license, which will both be dismissed if she fixes her license plate light and gets a valid license. She will be allowed to plead down to a charge of no license in possession.

Gabriel Olives, 32, of Tucson, is charged with driving on a suspended license, which will both be dismissed he gets a valid license. He will be allowed to plead down to a charge of no license in possession.

Jessica Eve Keefer, 33, of Sahuarita, was offered diversion on charges of possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay a $75 deferred prosecution fee. A $1,926 fine is suspended pending completion of 16 hours of drug education within three months.

Jerred Bryan Montelongo, 19, of Tucson, and Aaron Dean Solt, 29, of Tucson, both pleaded responsible for soliciting for business without having a business license and were fined $102 each. They were selling pest control door-to-door without having obtained a license from the town clerk. Their boss told officers that he was unaware that a license was needed.

Michael Sean Auerbach, 20, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for soliciting for business without having a business license and was fined $102. He works for an alarm system company that the arresting officer had informed the previous day was not allowed to solicit business without obtaining a license from the town clerk. His boss said they had a license, but it was not presented at court.

New Cases

Damian F. Leuck, 43, of Green Valley, is charged with possession of marijuana. On Aug. 6, he was brought a package to a local package shipping company and asked for it to be shipped overnight to Omaha, Neb. The employee recognized Leuck and thought he was acting suspicious by paying cash instead of using his corporate account even though it would be double the cost. Leuck said he was shipping coffee for a party he couldn’t attend. The employee opened the package after Leuck left and and found 0.4 grams of saran wrapped marijuana inside the package of coffee. Officers were called and went to Leuck’s house where he admitted to doing something stupid.

Barbara Laura Khosravy, 54, of Green Valley, is charged with shoplifting. On Aug.10, Khosravy placed $117 worth of items from Beall’s Home Store into her purse. She told officers that she had previously bought costume jewelry which had tarnished and when she tried to return it, the store wouldn’t accept it. She told officers she felt ripped off so she was shoplifting new items to replace the old ones.

Pedro Arturo Bernal, 31, of Tucson, is charged with white light to the rear, failure to identify to law enforcement, false reporting to law enforcement and driving on a suspended license. On Aug. 15, a officer pulled Bernal over because he had a white light to the rear. He gave a false name and date of birth an said he had forgotten his wallet. The officer checked the name but there was no record. Bernal was detained and upon searching the vehicle, the officer found a wallet with an ID and Social Security card. Records showed he had warrants and a suspended license.

Candice A. Winters, 20, of Sahuarita, is charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance stemming from an Aug. 13 citation.

Carlos Alfonso Rodriguez, 19, of Tucson, is charged with driving on a suspended stemming from a July 22 citation.

Clancy Quinn Fox, 37, of Chandler, is charged with driving on a suspended and speeding in construction zone stemming from a July 30 citation.

Michael Merril Jones, 33, of Sahuarita, is charged with driving on a suspended stemming from a July 29 citation.

Cruz Bray Redondo, 45, of Tucson, is charged with driving on a suspended license, no license plate light and mutilated license plate stemming from an Aug. 7 citation.

A juvenile male, 16, of Sahuarita, is charged with no driver’s license in possession, no insurance and no registration.

Mark G. Zepp, 46, of Vail, is charged with driving on a suspended license, no registration and no proof of insurance stemming from an Aug. 10 citation.

Anthony Samuel Gonzales, 23, of Sahuarita, is charged with speeding, no registration, no insurance, cracked windshield and no headlamp stemming from a July 14 citation.

Jesus E. Munoz, 32, of Nogales, is charged with driving on a suspended license, suspended registration and no insurance stemming from an Aug. 3 citation.

Angela Mae Gonzalez, 41, of Sahuarita, is charged with driving on a suspended license stemming from an Aug. 7 citation.
