Three people were hurt Monday when their car slipped off the shoulder on Mission Road and the driver overcorrected, sending the car into a tree, according to a Pima County Sheriff’s Office report.
Deputies suspect alcohol was involved in the crash about three-fourths of a mile south of Pima Mine Road.
One person was transported to University Medical Center by helicopter; two others were sent in ambulances. All three were suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, according to the report.
