July 17

Widowed to Widowed meets on Fridays at 10 a.m. at the Green Valley Community Church, Esperanza Boulevard and La Canada. Lunch following the meeting. For information, call Rosemary, 625-1449.

July 19

St. Andrew’s Bach Society of Tucson will present the Swara Sonora Trio it its last concert before departing for a tour to Indonesia — the UNICEF Peace Tour, Concert is at 3 p.m. at Grace St. Paul’s Church, 2331 E. American Legion Post 131, 249 Esperanza Blvd., will have karaoke with Donna Green from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. On Fridays in July, the Green Velvet performs starting at 6 p.m.; Mondays thru Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., lunch for members and their guests.

Jack Lasseter will discuss “Outlaws and Lawmen in the Arizona Frontier” at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, 1250 W. Co9ntinental Road. Tickets, $ 8 in advance; $10 at the door.

Cinema Under the Stars at the Tubac Plaza will show “One Nation Under Siege, described as a politically revealing documentary on Friday at 7:30 p,m., rain or shine.$5. On Saturday “Future by Design,” at 7:30 p.m. will explore futurist and inventor Jaque Fesco’ss vision of a world where war is outdated, among other things. $5.
