Cranberry and Kelly

A Special Friendship: In 2006, Cranberry arrived as a foundling at TALGV. He soon found a home with a very nice family, and they spent two good years together. Regretfully, the family had to move to an apartment where they don’t allow pets, so Cranberry came back to TALGV in March.

Recently he was adopted again, but it didn’t work out because there was a conflict between Cranberry and the other cat in the house.

At about this time, Kelly (one of the litter from Mario - some of you will remember) was adopted, but she, too, was returned. . . . and this is where the story becomes very special. When Cranberry and Kelly came back from their respective experiences they somehow discovered each other. They are in a room at TALGV with many other cats but only have eyes for each other. They have become inseparable.

Here is big, 4-year-old, neutered male, long-haired orange tabby, Cranberry, snuggling, eating and sleeping with petite, 1-year-old, spayed female, short-haired, brown and white tabby, Kelly. They are family, and we hope that someone out there will be as enchanted as we at TALGV are at this unique turn of events and will adopt them together. Cranberry and Kelly would be forever grateful.

Ladybird

Although I’ve been microchipped, when the TALGV people tried to trace my owner, they ran into a dead end. So...here’s your chance to add a beautiful, brindle terrier mix girl to your life!

I’m about 18 months old, recently spayed, weigh 45 pounds, and I love to play (especially fetch)! I had very irritating and potentially damaging inverted eyelashes when I arrived, but they have been surgically corrected, and my eyes are as good as new. My rescuers said that I am gentle and tolerant, but that I tend to be a bit rambunctious when I play, but with guidance from my new people, I’m sure I’ll learn proper manners in no time. Once you gaze into my warm brown eyes, I know you’ll be a “goner!”

Ruby

My sister, Diamond, and I are both the most precious of jewels! We have lived with our family (a middle-aged couple) since birth 2 years ago, and we are all devastated because we’ve lost our home - literally. Even with acreage, we still spent most of our time in the house with our people, so we’re perfectly housebroken (we “ask” to go outside), leash trained, and have good house manners (our folks allowed us to get on the sofa and bed with them, so, truth be told, we’re just a tad spoiled - and would LOVE to keep it that way!).

We’re good with kids, but cats are a different story. We should go to homes that are cat free. I love to “talk” like Scooby Doo (my dad called me “woo-dog!”) - and to sit next to you while you watch TV or read, so if you want a companionable, chatty friend, I’m the gal for you!

    Darcy

I’m a beautiful black tabby female so I look very different from my brothers, Teddy Bear and Yoda. We were born in April and I guess it is kind of hard to tell you much about our personalities since they are still developing.

Mom says I’m kind of shy and quite although I hold my own with the other cats and dogs in my foster home.

    Yoda

My brother, Teddy Bear, and I are Darcy’s fawn colored brothers. I’m the laid back one, so my foster mom says, and TB is mischievous.

We look so much alike—would you consider adding us both to your family?

Paws Patrol cats are $65 each or two for $100. Ask about our free-to-seniors and handicapped program.

  • Don’t forget our cat adoption fair held the second Sunday of each month at Green Valley Canine, 750 Camino Casa Verde from 1 to 4 pm.
