Margaret Huff Huggins, 84, died June 22 at her home in Green Valley following a lengthy illness.

She was born October 13, 1924 at Marquette, KS, and the family moved to Hutchinson (KS) shortly thereafter. She was a 1942 graduate of Hutchinson High School and was also a graduate of the University of Kansas.

The family moved to Southern California in 1955. While there, she worked in the accounting department at Knott’s Berry Farm until her retirement in 1984.

She and her husband were devout Christians and have served the Lord in volunteer activity for many years. They were Senior Lay Ministers of Pastoral Care at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA, for over 20 years and then served in a similar capacity at the Community Christian Church in Hemet, CA, for 18 years.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Fred C. Huggins, and a son, Gary Michael Huggins, both of Green Valley, and granddaughter Kaycie M. Huggins of Monroe, LA.

Memorial services will be held July 11 at Community Christian Church in Hemet, CA, with internment at the Riverside National Cemetery.
