Doug Webber is a self-proclaimed “gadget freak.” His 20 years of experience as a developer for Apple Computer and years at MIT Computer Research have kept the technology juices flowing into his new business, TechConnection.

“I had always been hooked by technology.” Webber said. “Now that we are in a digital world, people are having a tough time keeping up with the wonderful applications they can tap into.”

The home entertainment industry, for example, is able to deliver so much more than ever before, and there is much more planned for the future. Many folks, who remember the black and white Huntley-Brinkley news reports delivered on a 12-inch TV nestled into a cabinet the size of a house are sometimes overwhelmed by the growing techno-tsunami.

“Choosing an LCD or a Plasma High Definition TV with 720p or 1080i format can be a daunting task,” Webber said. “I make it simple and easy for my customers to integrate and operate their entire systems.”

A resident of Green Valley, Webber assists residents with HD TV set ups, integrated music, TV, WiFi wireless, photo, printer, scanner set-ups, broadband issues, Mac support and Web site design.

Contact Webber at TechConnection, 520-648 1330.
