Bill doesn’t go far enough

" I agree with Joyce James. Contact Senator Kyl regarding the Health Care Bill, but call him and tell him that this country cannot afford this bill. Tell him you do not want to mortgage the future of this country and the futures of your children and grandchildren.

Tell him you do not want a bill that you know most legislators have not even read.

Tell him you do not want a bill that provides health care for people in this country illegally.

Tell him you do not want a bill that will allow the government to decide who gets what when.

Tell him you do not want a bill that taxes health care benefits provided by employers and then exempts union members from having to pay any taxes on their benefits.

Tell him you do not want a European or Canadien style failed system where people die waiting for treatment.

Tell him you want the same plan Congress has.

Tell him you want a cap on malpractice lawsuits.

Tell him that a government that will provide money to study why pigs smell has no clue on how to spend money wisely.

And finally, tell Senator Kyl that you do want health care reform that has real bipartisan support and is not rammed through Congress without much debate and a real discussion with the American people.

Tell yourselves and Senator Kyl (you might as well call McCain while you are at it) that this bill is only one of many that will bankrupt this country and endanger our national security. While we pass trillions for energy, health care and bailouts and while North Korea and Iran are building nukes and long range missiles, President Obama is cutting missile defense and the military and extending an olive branch to every dictator in the world.

While America is transfixed on the death of Michael Jackson our freedoms and ability to control our own lives are being eroded as the this administration attempts to insert itself into every aspect of our lives.

So please listen to Ms. James and do call Senator Kyl. Remeber if you have not read this bill, the devil is always in the details, if their are any. "

" All of the benefits described by Ms. James are a repitition of what Obama has told us much if not all of which are outright lies. We know that seniors will get slammed with medicare cuts to doctors and hospitals. Seniors will have have to sit down to discuss there end of life options every five years who knows maybe with Obama's thug friends in ACORN.

In recent days, I have received e-mail and have noted in articles, that this current bill claims the bulk of the cost of this program will come from Medicare - because Medicare will not longer exist. The bill also states that once every 5 years Americans 65 and over will be required to attend a counseling session regarding their healthcare. This discussion will also discuss how to end their lives - so as not to be a burden on society. If you become ill, in between sessions, with a life threatening illness - like cancer, you will be required to attend another session to discuss your own termination. Shocking - abosolutely! " The rank and file of the AMA do not support this bill. The leadership of organizations take it upon themselves to endorse bills or candidates without ever getting the pulse of the membership.

The best example is the leftist AARP upon whose magazine cover we see the likes of the Hugo Chavez loving anti-Americans like Sean Penn and Danny Glover. The AARP endorsed Obama's health care initiative before they ever saw any bill, but that is probably OK as the legislators don't read the bills anyway. Any senior ever recall a vote being taken by the AARP membership?

This bill is filled with government interference in relationships between patients and doctors, capitalism and lets the government have too much control over our lives. It is designed to bring about a single payer system and it smacks of rationing. Do not be fooled. It will ultimately be government bureaucrats or in this case as somebody else put, Obama's thugs who make decisions.

I am not a health expert, but I have read large portions of the bill. I assure you Ms. James has not. It is not a health care bill that will improve anything for seniors and many others will suffer as well. It is also a budget breaker that those not yet born will bear the brunt of paying.

Here is obvious truth. If Obama wants it, then it must be good for us and that is what the left wants. If Obama is wrong then they would have to admit their vote was a mistake. That will never happen. Democrats uber alles. "
