Jane Polgreen Stevenson, 87,

of Lee‘s Summit, MO., formerly of Green Valley, AZ and Evansville, IN., passed away June 22, 2009.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 26 at Liberty Christian Church, 427 E. Kansas Street Liberty, MO.

Jane was born August 14, 1921 in Big Creek, WV. She married Eugene H. Stevenson on December 28, 1943. They were married for 42 years until Eugene’s death in 1986. She was resident of Evansville, IN for 16 years and Green Valley, AZ for 18 years.

Jane is survived by her brother, Phillip Polgreen of Rockford, IL, her children Don Stevenson of New Ellenton, South Carolina, Patti Banks of Liberty, Missouri, Jim Stevenson of Tyler, Texas and four grandchildren. She will be interred with Eugene at Valley Presbyterian Church, Green Valley, AZ.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
