GV News makes cutting coupons easier

Analog Analytics and the Green Valley News announced a partnership aimed at helping local media outlets expand their online reach and advertising revenue. Using innovative technology that makes web coupons easy for news sites to host — and even easier for customers to virtually “clip” — Analog hopes to bring new levels of profitability and exposure to GV News, its media partners, and Green Valley businesses.

The partnership is the latest in a string of successful ventures for the company, which has already joined with other local news Web sites nationwide to implement its unique online coupon services.

“For the most part, local papers are much better off than the larger national papers — they’ve created large Web sites with tons of great content, but they need to better promote advertising potential to local businesses,” said Kenneth Kalb, Analog’s co-founder and CEO. “So we’ve created an entirely new revenue stream they can tap into, one that will attract anyone who uses their site because it offers something valuable.”

The partnership with GVN is particularly groundbreaking. It gives small businesses a potentially huge metropolitan Web audience that they would not otherwise be able to reach. Analog will offer a full range of online services to both the network and its clients; from designing attractive coupons to ensuring they reach the right readers through industry-first software solutions. Together, Kalb and GVN hope to help local businesses tap into the growing number of consumers hungry for money-saving deals in an uncertain economic climate.

The evidence for this large new audience is more than anecdotal. According to national coupon-processing firm Inmar Inc., online coupon use grew by 140 percent last year alone for larger manufacturers. Given the new Analog/GVN partnership, local news sites and advertisers now have ample reason to believe that they can achieve impressive revenue growth.

In searching for the most cost-effective way to market their business, advertisers will find that digital coupons enable discounts without lowering the perceived value of a product or service, thereby maintaining their brand’s integrity.

Features for advertisers:

  • Audience Reach: Consumers are now price shopping, and advertisers can reach a larger audience of local consumers.

  • Increased Sales and Revenue: Digital coupons increase the advertiser’s revenue and sales because of the expanded audience. Depending on the method of redemption, advertisers will get email, TXT, phone calls, and/or printed coupons.

  • Coupon performance can be easily measured: Advertisers will be able to track the click-through rates and responses by campaign and coupon to measure how the promotion or value offering is performing. Your offers and bargains can be changed monthly, which will enhance sales.

  • New client and customer lists are developed - We can help you to remarket to these same customers whenever you wish.

  • Advertiser chooses means of distribution: Depending on the type of business, consumers can receive coupons distributed in any combination of the following forms: print, email, mobile TXT, or click-to-call.
