Pets Up for Adoption

Cinnamon

As you might guess, Cinnamon is a beautiful golden girl, and she’s just lost her family because her people recently developed those darned Arizona allergies to lots of stuff (which, unfortunately, also include felines). Cinnamon has been living with her sister, Callie, another feline friend, Dot, and two Lab mix canines for all of her 5-years, and although she’s managed to tolerate them, in her heart she really wants to be the “only child” in your life.

Cinnamon loves to snuggle with you, and she is still very playful and kittenish when it comes to amusing herself and her family. She loves to sleep wherever she likes (squishy chairs are great, but the foot of your bed is best!), so when you’re ready for an outgoing, independent companion you can be sure Cinnamon will be ready for you!

Harry

Harry’s human mom passed away recently, and they had such a wonderful time together, that he’s really yearning for that one-on-one relationship.

Harry is a handsome, declawed, black and white “Tuxedo” gentleman who is about 8 years old and a real lover. He does have a small health problem (hyperthyroidism - a condition that lots of cats get), but it’s easily controlled with a drop of gel applied to the inside of an ear twice a day - something that he’s quite used to. Harry is definitely not an independent, aloof cat - He really needs human companionship and attention and is very vocal if you ignore him! He adores being held and scratched and “messed with,” so if you want a cat that wants you, then you and Harry will make beautiful music together!

Jack

Jack is a handsome, two-and-a-half-year-old, tan and white Shepherd/Husky mix who weighs almost 50 pounds (and it’s all pure love!). His people said that he is gentle and tolerant, loves to play and just adores attention. He got to come in the house for a few hours each day, and he was always well behaved.

He’s never had any “real” obedience training, though, (aside from “no” and “come here, Jack”), so he probably would benefit from a bit more in the education department (but he’s very willing to learn, and smart as a whip so it will be a snap for him). If you have time, patience, and a nice big house and yard, then you can bet Jack would like to share it with you!

Henry

Henry, his mom Honeydew and his eight siblings are wonderfully diverse heeler mixes. Henry is a brown and tan male with a white stripe around his neck.

His mom was found by a family (mom, dad, three children -- ages 4, 6, and 7 -- and two other heelers). Shortly after taking the mom in, they discovered that she was expecting, so when the pups were born, they kept all of them until they were almost old enough for adoption and there was room here at TALGV.

Naturally, you’re going to have to be patient with Henry as he’s just a little whippersnapper right now and will need to learn doggie skills like house manners, obedience training, and the like - but he has those heeler “smart genes,” so teaching him the ropes should be a snap!

    Daisy

I’m a nine-month-old brown and gray tabby who is fun-loving and cuddly. I have heard people say, “always a bridesmaid, never a bride.” Then they smile at me! Could it be because I’ve been in three foster homes but have never found a home of my own? I really need someone to adopt me who would just love to have a tabby kitty. Oh, I’ve met doggies, but don’t really like them.

    Tiffany

I’m only two and one-half months old, have Siamese markings with gray trim and if you can’t resist the PURR-sonality of a Siamese, please consider making me your special kitten. I wouldn’t mind having another kitty to play with. I’ve had my first shot and my other two shots, spay and rabies shots are free if I stay in the Green Valley area.

  • As of June 1, Paws Patrol cats are $65 for one and $100 for two, but Daisy would also qualify for our free-to-seniors and handicapped program.
