Green Valley Wood Carvers meet at 8:30 a.m. at Friends in Deed, 301 W. Camino Casa Verde. Any carver interested in an active club or any person wishing to learn how to carve is welcome. Information: Don Moberg, 777-7182.

Marine Corps League Detachment 1126 of Green Valley will muster at American Legion Post No. 66 on Duval Mine Road at 1900 hours. All Marines welcome.

Green Valley Stamp and Coin Club will start its summer format for meetings at 1:30 p.m. at Friends in Deed, 301 W. Camino Casa Verde. Anyone interested in trading or selling stamps or coins or wishing information on disposing of their collection is asked to come at 12:30 p.m. Information: Harvey, 625-7892.

Green Valley Forum meets at 10 a.m. at East Center. Hal Mansfield, Ph.D. will address the poverty and underdevelopment in Mexico and the results to the U.S. of unchecked immigration. All GVR members and their eligible guests are welcome.

Capistrano at Las Campanas Homeowners board meets at 9 a.m. at the rec center.

A Laughter Yoga Retreat will be held at Casa de Esperanza’s Community Center, 780 S. Park Centre Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Laughter Yoga combines laughter exercises with deep breathing, simple stretching, mediation and deep relaxation. Helpful for folks in wheelchairs, too.
