MARGUERITE R. BECKLEY

Aug. 16, 1915-April 16, 2009

Born in Robinson, Kan., she grew up in Colorado Springs, Colo., graduating from Colorado College. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill. They had moved to Green Valley 20 years ago.

She was a 75 year member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, an active member of PEO chapter DI, an avid bridge player and a member of St-Francis-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church.

Marguerite is survived by her daughter Nancy (John) Groh; three grandchildren JB (Kate) Groh, Emily Groh and Amy (Daruka) Mahadevan. The lights of Marguerite’s life were her five great-grandchildren Beckley, Tyler, and Colby Groh and Emily and Olivia Mahadevan. A niece, Betty Brose of Oregon, also survives.

Services will be held on May 3 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Children’s Clinic c/o St Francis Church, 600 S. La Canada Dr, Green Valley, AZ 85614.
