EVELYN A. CASTLE, 95, a resident of Green Valley, passed away on March 30, 2009.

She was born April 27, 1913, in Coleman, Texas, to Austin and Allie (Chitty) Buck. She was employed as a civil service secretary for the U.S. government and formerly resided in the Panama Canal zone.

She lived in Green Valley for 25 years, the last 10 years at La Posada. She was living at La Hacienda at the time of her death.

She liked to play golf and was a good golfer. She was a longtime member of the Tortuga Golf Club.

She was married to Clyde Castle who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sisters who live in Texas, as well as nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Green Valley Community Church on Wednesday, April, 15 at 1:30 p.m.
