Fishing gear stolen from boat at hotel

Fishing gear valued at more than $1,700 was stolen Monday from a boat parked in front of the Best Western hotel in Green Valley, according to a Pima County Sheriff’s report.

The boat was attached to a vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel, 111 S. La Canada Dr.

Inside the boat were various fishing rods, casting reels, a rain suit and an electric fish finder, the report said. Nobody was arrested in the case.
