The home and vehicles of a Pima County Sheriff’s deputy were vandalized last week and Sahuarita police are asking for help to solve the crime.

Sometime between the night of March 11 and the morning of March 12, four vehicles, including a work vehicle, had all four tires slashed. The deputy’s garage door and a wall in his Rancho Sahuarita neighborhood also were spray-painted, according to Officer Sam Almodova, a department spokesman.

The word “tweaker” was painted on the garage and the phrase “stop snitching” on the wall near the house.

Almodova said police are investigating whether the vandalism was directed toward the deputy’s son, who testified in a criminal damage case.

Anyone with information can reach the Sahuarita Police Department by calling 88-Crime.
