VIRGINIA JACOBY MICKELSON

departed this life on March 6, 2009.

She was born to Josephine and Ed Jacoby on May 16, 1922, in Havre, Mont. She was the oldest of four sisters (Helen, Ione and Lorraine) and was preceded in death by her mother, father and two sisters (Helen and Lorraine).

She also leaves behind Mike, her loving husband of 66 years; two daughters Susan Fischer and Sandra (Jim) Seppala; sister Ione; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Virginia loved her family and always kept family first. She loved to travel to see family members. She was meticulous and her talents were shown in decorating and entertaining for family and friends. She was a self-made person and loved teaching her daughters and grandchildren. She was a caring, loving, and generous person and she will be truly missed.

A memorial service to celebrate Virginia’s life was held by the family in Green Valley.
