Casino arts, crafts festival starts Feb. 6

The Ninth Annual Desert Diamond Arts & Crafts Festival is set for Feb. 6 through Feb. 8.

It will feature 85 booths of artists and craftspeople from throughout the United States and Canada.

Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.

Desert Diamond Casino is at Interstate 19 and Pima Mine Road.

Examples of jewelry, Native American Art, pottery, wood crafts, stained glass, metal works, paintings, photography, baskets, furniture, clothes, specialty foods and so much more will be available.

Live musical entertainment and wonderful food add to the festivities, all set in the courtyard plaza of the Desert Diamond Casino.


This festival benefits PAKS (People Assisting Kindred Spirits) Animal Rescue, with all artists donating to a raffle.

There will be wonderful dogs to meet for adoption on all three days, as well.
