Unitarian Universalist Sunday Forum meets at 10 a.m. on Jan. 11, at the Canoa Hills Recreation Center, 3660 S. Camino del Sol. The PBS special “Anyone and Everyone” will be shown. It presents conservative, ethnically diverse families who have coped in various ways with the “coming out” of their children.

The Center for Spiritual Living is sponsoring “Be the Joy,” on Jan. 17, a three-hour event on a method of using the energy of the economic crisis to create more joy and balance in your life now. The presenter will be Marcia Breitenbach. Evangelical Free Church of Green Valley will present John and Mary Giger live in concert at 5 p.m. on Jan. 18, at the church, 1393 West Mission Twin Buttes Road.For more information, call the church office at (520) 648 6781. Unity in the Valley invites the public to its first ”Book Bonanza” sale Jan. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Unity is across from Anamax Park at 17630 S. Camino de las Quintas, Sahuarita.
