Valley Presbyterian Church will hold facilitator-led study sessions and round-table discussion of “Living the Questions” every Wednesday beginning today through Feb. 18, at the church at 2800 S. Camino del Sol. Call 625-5023 for information.

Jan. 11

Unitarian Universalist Sunday Forum meets at 10 a.m. on Jan. 11, at the Canoa Hills Recreation Center, 3660 S. Camino del Sol. The PBS special “Anyone and Everyone” will be shown. It presents conservative, ethnically diverse families who have coped in various ways with the “coming out” of their children.

Jan. 13

Valley Presbyterian will hold forum-style discussions of issues addressed in the “Great Decisions” publication every Tuesday in January and February at 4 p.m. at the church at 2800 S. Camino del Sol. Call 625-5023 for information.


Jan. 17

The Center for Spiritual Living is sponsoring “Be the Joy,” on Jan. 17, a three-hour event on a method of using the energy of the economic crisis to create more joy and balance in your life now. The presenter will be Marcia Breitenbach. Her Web site is www.themagnificentyou.com The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at Amado Territory Ranch Mercado at the Center for Spiritual Living, formerly the Center for Positive Living. Jan. 18

Evangelical Free Church of Green Valley will present John and Mary Giger live in concert at 5 p.m. on Jan. 18, at the church, 1393 West Mission Twin Buttes Road.For more information, call the church office at (520) 648 6781. The concert is free. There will be a free-will offering after the concert.

Jan. 24

Unity in the Valley invites the public to its first ”Book Bonanza” sale Jan. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Unity is across from Anamax Park at 17630 S. Camino de las Quintas, Sahuarita. Fiction and non-fiction books by noted authors will be featured as well as VCRs, CDs and audio tapes. Information: 398-8010.
