Family tradition lives on!
Sahuarita resident Jason Meyer, and his wife Erica are helping to keep the tradition of the light tree in Sahuarita alive and going strong. Jason will take over as caretaker of the annual seasonal beacon on Twin Buttes Properties this year from his grandfather, Herman Meyer, who turns over the job to his grandson after serving as caretaker for 22 years. The light tree shines from Thanksgiving night until New Year’s Day.
