in Green Valley at the age of 73.
Living also in Longmont, Colo., Larry and Patricia have enjoyed their Green Valley home and neighbors since 1998.
Larry was born and attended schools in Center Line, Mich., before joining the U.S. Air Force in 1953. In 1954, he married his high school sweetheart, Patti Hanley, at Lowry AFB in Denver, Colo.
Larry joined IBM in 1959, serving in management until he retired in 1990. He then opened his own company, Hobby Giant, in Arvada, Colo. and retired from that in 2006.
Larry and Patricia have three wonderful children, Tom (Mary) Cencich of Littleton, Colo., Cathy (Brad) Strait of Centennial, Colo. and Nancy Arp of Lyons, Colo.; and nine special grandchildren.
A committed family man with a zest for life, Larry enjoyed sharing waterskiing, snow skiing, golfing, flying, billiards, and baseball with them whenever possible. He could fix or build anything, was generous with his time, and loved teaching others these hobbies.
Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be interned in Longmont. In his honor of his life and faith, donations can be given to his favorite charity, the Salvation Army.
