The Diamond Room
After more than a year of renovation, La Joya Assisted Living at La Posada opened its new dining room (called “The Diamond Room”) for lunch on Monday. The 4,500-square-foot room seats 110 people and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner for residents. Its 25-foot ceiling with open beams was inspired by the design of the dining room at the historic Arizona Inn in Tucson. The dining room is part of a $6.5 million upgrade at La Joya that includes 21 one- and two-bedroom suites that will be opening in December.
