Give proper credit

In the article on me that appeared in the Nov. 2 edition of the Green Valley News & Sun, it appeared that I was responsible for working to bring public transportation to Green Valley.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

For the past several years, GVCCC Past President Dick Roberts has been working tirelessly with County officials in an effort to provide public transportation to the residents of Green Valley.

As Chair of the GVCCC’s Transit Committee, it appears that Dick’s efforts will hopefully come to fruition soon. While the GVCCC plays a minor role, the Community owes a debt of gratitude to Dick and the members of his committee for their contributions and dedication.
