East Frontage Road update Wednesday at S.R. Springs
Find out what’s happening on the east frontage road project at an open house in Green Valley Wednesday, Nov. 12.
The Pima County Department of Transportation will present information, slides, maps and other things about the east frontage road extension.
The meeting is 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Anza Room at the Santa Rita Springs Social Center, 951 W. Via Rio Fuerte.
Plans call eventually for an extension of the east frontage road south to connect to Canoa Road.
Pima County Transportation said the presentation will discuss proposed improvements including a “two-lane frontage road between Canoa and Continental.”
There’ll be a special presentation at 1:45 p.m.
It will focus on such things as safety and operational improvements at both Canoa Road and Continental Road interchanges, including rubberized asphalt pavement, landscaping and public art.
