Veteran’s day ceremony will be held at GV Mortuary

A Veteran’s Day ceremony will be held Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. at the Green Valley Mortuary and Cemetery.

The ceremony, hosted by the Green Valley Branch 77 Fleet Reserve Association and the Green Valley Mortuary, will feature a guest speaker, Colonel John E. Marselus, USAF Commander, Joint Air Operations Center at Davis-Monthan Air Force.

The American Legion honor guard will play “Taps,” and 19 local veteran’s groups who will participate in a ceremonial laying of wreaths.

All Veteran’s groups are invited to participate and the public is invited to attend. A reception will be held afterward.
