Kelly Pardi | Special to the Green Valley News Rollover accident A Ford F150 4x4 pickup truck lost control while traveling on the east frontage road parallel to Interstate 19 Friday afternoon at about 3 p.m. and rolled multiple times, according to investigators. DPS units as well as emergency medical personnel from Green Valley Fire District and Elephant Head Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of the single-vehicle accident just south of the northbound rest stop at kilometer No. 53. An Amado man, 56, believed to be the driver and sole occupant of the truck, was transported by a by Life Net helicopter to a Tucson medical facility with what officials described as life-threatening injuries. |
