Who is Palin?

Published: Saturday, November 1, 2008 8:15 PM MST

Editor:

Gov. Palin is not a very ethical person, whether about her church expenses charged to her political trips or for getting per diem for living at home as though it were a hotel, or accepting and advertising her 17-year-old daughter’s (unmarried) pregnancy to the world.

In other words, if Palin and family do it, it is considered OK. Just go on as though it happens every day.

Do we really want a woman like this as an example as president or vice president in the White House — a woman who is a showman, one who uses subterfuge to gain entrance to any angle of government or politics, one who says she has a typical American family, yet farms her children out to be trained by others (and the results show it) while she does her maneuvering in politics?

Yes, she is a “showman,” and fools many at first glance, but look beyond the front she puts on.
