MRS. COLLEEN H. PENNINGTON-MILLER of Apache Junction,

and formerly of Kalamazoo, Mich., died Oct. 26, 2008, at Arbor Rose Hospice in Mesa.

Mrs. Miller was born on Dec. 31, 1924, in Belleville, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Edna (Fritzinger) Stroebel.

She worked as an administrative secretary for Kalamazoo Creamery for more than 30 years and retired in 1988.

She married Donald W. Miller on Dec. 23, 1991. She and Don lead comfortable lives in Green Valley and at their summer home in Taylor.

She was preceded in death by brother Norman Stroebel; and her parents.

Surviving are Donald W. Miller of Oro Valley; two daughters: Barbara L. Titus, and her husband John, of Apache Junction and Lesa Pennington, and her husband Gary Hockett, of Cave Creek; one sister Sharon Stewart, and her husband Gene, of Northport, Fla.; one grandson Todd Stinnett of Portage, Mich.; one great-grandson Neil; and several nieces and nephews.


Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Valley or a charity of choice.
