South Arizona Grace Bible Conference Oct. 18-19

Pastor Jim Kirby and the members of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church of Rio Rico are pleased to announce the church’s 13th annual South Arizona Grace Bible Conference on Oct. 18-19.

This year’s conference theme is “Great Themes from 1 John.”

The conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, and continue on to Sunday morning.

A luncheon will be served on Saturday.

The conference is free, but a love offering will be taken

Keynote speaker will be Dr. Kevin Zuber, professor of Theology at Moody Bible Institute.

Prior to coming to Moody in 2001, he was a pastor for 18 years in four churches in Indiana, Iowa and Arizona.

He attended Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he earned his PhD in Systematic Theology.

Kevin and Diane have been married for 35 years and reside in Portage, Ind.

The Zubers have two sons: David, a senior at Moody Bible Institute, and Christopher, a student at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Diane works at Valparaiso University.

The Zubers are members of Grace Bible Church Northwest in Schaumburg, IL, where Dr. Zuber is Teaching Pastor.

Dr. Zuber is well known to the Sovereign Grace Churches in Arizona from his years as pastor of the Sovereign Grace Bible Church in Phoenix.

Also, teaching will be Dr. Barry Horner of Christ’s New Covenant Church in Tucson,, and John Tock, an elder at Sovereign Grace Bible Church in Phoenix.

The church is located at 451 Avenida Coatimundi in Rio Rico. Take Interstate 19 to exit 17—Rio Rico Drive. Turn east on to Rio Rico Drive.

Follow it until you come to Pendleton Drive. Turn right on Pendleton and drive on it until you come to Avenida Coatimundi (note the Rio Rico Fitness Center sign).

Turn left on Coatimundi and follow it until you come to the church building on the right side of the street (0.7 of a mile).
