Keyboard classics to resume at St. Francis

Keyboard Classics and Comments with Ann-Marie Schaffer will return to St. Francis-in-the-Valley Parish Hall, 600 S. La Canada Dr., Monday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m., and continue on the first Monday of every month through April.

A new feature for the popular talks this year will be an underlying theme, “Music As...” — Music As Art, Music As History, Music As Language, Music As Exploration, Music and the Spirit, Music of Friends, Music and Structure. Each talk-with-performance is complete in itself and does not require hearing the previous talk.

Listeners are encouraged to bring questions and comments for the end of each talk. St. Francis Episcopal Church is again making its facilities available. Talks are free and open to the public. Information: Ann-Marie Schaffer at 625-1609.
