The Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce is celebrating a milestone—three decades as a leader in business and civic life in the Santa Cruz Valley.

This 30th anniversary will be marked throughout the year at various Chamber events—including its annual dinner, business expo and more—and throughout this year’s issue of Inside Green Valley Sahuarita, the Chamber’s annual, four-color, glossy magazine.

Highlights of this popular publication, produced by the Green Valley News and Sun, include a listing of the Chamber’s more than 600 members, a colorful look at the life and times of valley communities, and all the good work the Chamber does for its members, visitors and local residents.

Those include the tourism and community information provided at the Chamber office and on its Web site, as well as its programs on economic development, government, local education and business development.

Plus, there are plenty of networking opportunities at monthly mixers, the annual dinner, the yearly Business Expo and Taste of the Valley, and the golf tournament.

New this year in Inside Green Valley Sahuarita magazine are articles on some of the Chamber’s longtime, dedicated volunteers, on the importance of the Interstate 19 corridor, and testimonials from residents and business owners about why they love Green Valley.

The new edition of the magazine-—available in early October at the Chamber in print and on CD—is distributed to area real estate agents and to other area chambers, visitor centers, hotels and airports. In addition, it is considered the “business bible” that is part of almost 4,000 relocation packets the Chamber sends out each year to folks requesting information on Green Valley.

As part of the Chamber’s 30th anniversary, a 10 percent discount is being offered on all advertising in Inside Green Valley Sahuarita magazine.
