Continental School Board meets Monday

Continental School District No. 39 Governing Board meets at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 8 at the School Library, 1991 East White House Canyon Road.

Agenda items include:

Community use of facilities; field trip requests, resignations; declaration of curricular and insturction alignment to the Arizona Academic Standards for the school year.

Also, consider and approve the staff handbook for the school year.

Also, consider and approve the following board policies for the their second reading: No. 303, No. 304, No. 305, No. 306, No. 307, No. 308; plus notes of importances on diabetes management.

Also, consider and approve three additions to the substitute teacher roster and the offer of employment to three individuals; and letters on accumulated sick leave for two individuals.

Also, consider and approve extracurricular stipend positions for the school year.

Also, consider and approve the extension of a contract to full time; goals for the school year; and approval of Heinfeld, Meech & Co. as auditors.
