Obituariesof Green Valley and formerly of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Aug. 9, 2008, of pulmonary fibrosis. He was born in Webster City, Iowa, on May 10, 1935, to Duane Beightol and Wilma (Huse) Beightol Luppes, both deceased. He had an associate degree in accounting plus additional college courses. He served in the U.S. Army, retiring as a CW4 after 30 years. He was a member of the Military Officers’ Assoc., a member of Valley Presbyterian Church, and treasurer of Desert Hills II HOA until his death. He is survived by Marge, his wife of almost 50 years; children Diane (Randy) Frank and Susan (George) Clore; grandchildren Michael (JoLynn) Frank, Daniel (Crystal) Clore and Kayli Clore; and a sister Anita Zolnosky. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Valley Presbyterian Spiritual Life Center. Remembrances may be made to Carondelet Hospice, 1802 W.
