I wish to express a few thoughts on Mr. O’Berry’s guest editorial on July 30.
Yes, as a lifelong Democrat, if I had any brains, and was not ‘stuck on stupid,’ I would think just like you.
I would be ecstatic over the performance of the Bush administration.
I would be so proud of our war in Iraq.
I would give thanks for our economic condition.
Every time I paid for my prescription drugs, I would send off a note of thanks to the Prez for the new higher prices that he negotiated with the drug companies.
I would jump for joy every time I filled my gas tank.
I would feel that it is such a blessing that so many people have lost their homes.
I believe that i would hang the portrait on the wall of the Supreme Court that appointed the exceptional Mr. Bush.
But I just do not believe Mr. O’Berry.
I think he is pulling our legs. A man with his fine background and experience must surely be a Democrat.
