NewsA Green Valley man was arrested Monday morning in the burglarizing of two homes in Green Valley and Sahuarita, according to Pima County Sheriff’s reports. Police say James Allen Arbogast, 19, climbed through the kitchen window of a Green Valley home in the 600 block of West Via Rosaldo sometime between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Monday, taking one laptop computer and a trumpet. Neighbors said they saw a man sitting in a beat-up white Dodge sedan that was parked near the residence during this time, and that he appeared to be reading a map. Later that morning, reports said, Arbogast was discovered in front of a home in the 18000 block of S. La Canada Dr. in Sahaurita, loading additional stolen items into the car. The trumpet and laptop were visible in the back seat, reports said. Officers from the Sahuarita Police and Pima County Sheriff’s Departments attempted to interview the suspect, but he was said to be incoherent and authorities believe under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was charged with burglary in the second degree, criminal damage and disorderly conduct and was taken to the Pima County Adult Detention Center. Arbogast has a record of criminal activity, which includes convictions for shoplifting in June of 2007 and underage drinking in October. One burglary took place in the 3000 block of Via de la Gaviota, near the Canoa Hills Townhomes, Tuesday, and police believe the suspects entered through an open window, Sheriff’s reports said. The other homes are in the 1700 block of W. Via de la Gloria (Canoa Vistas) and the 1000 block of Circulo Del Norte (Esperanza Estates). In all three burglaries, numerous expensive items, including DVD players, were untouched, reports said. The trailer, which was being used by construction workers at the site, had been parked near the 2000 block of West Music Mountains Drive for three days. There are no suspects, leads or evidence at this time. Eleven specially packaged Adtron circuit boards were discovered in the road in front of Our Lady of The Valley Catholic Church, 505 N. La Canada Dr., Tuesday around 9:30 a.m. If you have any information, call the Green Valley Station at 351-6711. jrichardson@gvnews.com | 547-9726
